This is a unique scientific test which tests for all four of the antibodies invovled in allergic reactions, typically most tests only test for one, usually IgA and IgE.  IgA antibodies are typically food intolerances with delayed responses, usually responsible for skin conditions, asthma, eczema etc. IgE reactions are usually immediate reactions, for example a peanut allergy

tests separate components of foods along with whole foods. We may therefore detect when people are allergic to a minor allergen in a particular food, as well as any whole food reactions. The majority of available tests only analyse components of a food.

Along with our food testing, also identifies allergies to both grass and birch pollen. These have been found to cross-react with food allergens (such as apple, celery and hazelnut in the case of birch pollen).

testing is carried out by our scientists using a small ‘pin prick’ of blood you provide, this is analysed in conjunction with the information you provide in our allergy questionnaire. Allergy Analysis uses allergy and medical history to evaluate results before issuing advice to the consumer. These interpretations are generated by consultation with allergy/immunology specialists.

You will receive a detailed report of your personal reaction to any of the 400 different food types tested. Our report will provide information on any food allergies at the time of the test. This may assist you in taking steps to clear your symptoms by speeding up the process of identifying your food allergy. You may use the results to experiment with changes to your diet to assess your reaction. However we strongly recommend you do not exclude foods from your diet for longer than 14 days before seeking medical advice (state registered dieticians, GPs). Even if you are allergic to some basic foods your body may still require the fundamental benefits they contain e.g. calcium in milk. Therefore cutting food items from your diet can have serious consequences if not carefully controlled. If any dietary changes are pursued we recommend that you take a daily suppliment of multi-vitamins and minerals (100% RDA).

provides more details of your reactions to foods than any other product

How to Use the Test

Firstly, order a test kit. You will receive a sampling kit containing the following:

1 Instruction leaflet (and an allergy questionnaire
    for a
test)
2 lancets to prick finger (1 spare provided)
  1 blood sample collection tube
1 safety transport tube and lid
  1 antiseptic wipe
  1 waste bag
  1 return box container
  1 Pre-addressed (freepost) envelope

Taking a test is easy and comes with full instructions.

The allergy questionnaire form consists of questions related to your food problem symptoms, medical background, family allergy history and allergy test history.

Why do we need this information? Only a proportion of people who respond to a food with high IgE antibodies will be affected by allergy symptoms. The data you provide in our allergy questionnaire allows us to gauge with more accuracy whether it is worth pursuing dietary changes for the foods that you show a higher than average response to.

All information that you provide will be kept strictly confidential, and anonymous.
